The ICA Scholarship Program is designed to provide financial assistance to students from underprivileged backgrounds who demonstrate exceptional academic potential but face economic challenges that might otherwise prevent them from achieving a bachelor's degree. Our Mission
ICA Campus is committed to supporting the educational aspirations of individuals from underprivileged families, single-parent households, families affected by war, natural disasters, and other social challenges. By providing full and partial scholarships, we aim to enable these individuals to pursue their dreams, develop their skills, and contribute to the growth and development of Sri Lanka.
Scholarship Program
Full Scholarship
The ICA Campus Full Scholarship is designed to cover the complete cost of education, including tuition fees, textbooks, and essential learning materials. This scholarship is available to applicants from the following backgrounds:
Coping and Healing in War-Affected Families
Families affected by the war, including missing persons, disabled individuals, and families of fallen soldiers.
Resilience and Recovery After Disasters
Families impacted by natural disasters or other social calamities.
Empowering Individuals with Disabilities
Individuals with permanent physical or mental disabilities.
Overcoming Daily Challenges of Poverty
Families living below the poverty line.
Navigating Life in Single-Parent Households
Single-parent households.
Half Scholarship
The ICA Campus Half Scholarship provides financial assistance for 50% of the total educational expenses. This scholarship is aimed at supporting individuals and families who may not qualify for the full scholarship but still face significant financial challenges. Eligibility criteria include:
Thriving with Limited Financial Resources
Families with limited financial resources.
Strength and Resilience: Women-Led Households
Households headed by women.
Supporting Families with War-Disabled Members
Families with members who have been disabled due to war or other conflicts.
Supporting Families of Fallen Service Members
Honoring and Supporting Families of Fallen Service Members.
Enrollment Process
Interested applicants can apply for any intake of the ICA Campus Scholarship Program by submitting a comprehensive application package which includes the following:
Completed application form
Proof of financial need (e.g. income statements, asset declarations)
Relevant documentation supporting the applicant's background (e.g. medical records, war-affected status, disability certificates)
Academic transcripts and references
Personal statement outlining the applicant's educational goals and how the scholarship would impact their life
The applications will be evaluated by a dedicated Scholarship Committee which will assess the applicants' eligibility and select the recipients based on the program's criteria and available funding.
By providing educational opportunities to those in need, the ICA Campus Scholarship Program aims to empower individuals, strengthen communities, and contribute to the overall development of Sri Lanka. Together we can create a brighter future for all.

Eligibility Criteria
The ICA Scholarship Program is open to students from low-income families, as well as children of military personnel, police officers, government employees, single parents, and individuals with disabilities or from families affected by war. Applicants must meet the following criteria:

Family Income:
- Applicants must belong to a low-income family with an annual household income below a specified threshold.
- Applicants must provide documentation to verify their family's income, such as recent tax returns or pay stubs.

Parent/Guardian Occupation and Status:
- Children of active-duty military personnel, police officers, or government employees are eligible to apply.
- Applicants who are from single-parent households, have a parent/guardian with a disability, or are from families affected by war are also eligible.
- Applicants must provide proof of their parent's or guardian's occupation or status, such as a military ID, police badge number, government employee ID, or documentation to prove single parenthood, disability, or war-affected status.

Academic Performance:
- Transcripts from the applicant's current or most recent educational institution must be submitted.

Enrollment Status:
- Applicants must not be currently enrolled or accepted for enrollment in another college, university, or vocational/technical program.

Essay/Personal Statement:
- Applicants must submit a personal statement or essay describing their background, academic and career goals, and how the scholarship would contribute to their educational and personal growth.

Letters of Recommendation:
- Applicants must provide a GS certificate and a letter from the GS officer to confirm the scholarship eligibility for the evaluation.
- Applicants must provide one or more letters of recommendation from teachers, counsellors, or community leaders who can attest to their character, academic potential, and financial need.

Additional Considerations (optional):
- Involvement in extracurricular activities, community service, or leadership roles may be considered as additional factors in the selection process.
- Applicants may be required to participate in an interview process as part of the evaluation.
